In the words of my apprentice, Bill . . . “ can it get any better than this?” This being our first “official” day being open for business . . .

We had a busy day which is always good. I did a couple of tattoos, and let Bill apply the highlights on a piece I just did. It was his first experience tattooing actual living, breathing skin, and not a honeydew or practice skin. He also got some practice touching up some missing spots in an existing tribal dragon. All in all, he did all right, so I agreed to let him start a project on his friend Nikki; who agreed (I mean, begged us) to let him work on her back. My first client of the day booked another appointment for two weeks from now with a consult in between . . .

So, yeah, it was good day . . .
